Buxton with Lamas Neighbourhood Plan

In April 2018, Buxton with Lamas Parish Council submitted a Neighbourhood Area application for the purpose of developing a Neighbourhood Plan. The designated area is the whole civil parish and, in accordance with Regulation 5A of the ‘Town and Country Planning, England – Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012’ Broadland District Council has confirmed the designation. The parish council is the relevant body for preparing the Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Buxton with Lamas Parish Council submitted the Neighbourhood Plan and other required documents to Broadland District Council. The submitted documents have been checked by the local planning authority against relevant criteria in Schedule 4B of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and were approved for publication.

In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations, 2012 (as amended), there followed a period of consultation on the Neighbourhood Plan. A summary of the representations received during the consultation can be viewed in the documents section, below.

The next stage is for the Neighbourhood Plan to undergo an independent examination. Mr Andrew Ashcroft has been appointed to undertake the work and any formal correspondence relating to the examination will be published in the documents section, below.

The submitted Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents can also be viewed in the documents section.
