Strumpshaw Parish Council has undertaken a review of its 2014 Adopted Neighbourhood Plan in accord with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

Strumpshaw Parish Council submitted the Strumpshaw Neighbourhood Plan Review and other documents to Broadland District Council and Broads Authority in August 2025. The submitted documents have been checked by the local planning authorities against the relevant criteria in Schedule 4B of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and were approved for publication.
In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations, 2012 (as amended), there followed a period of consultation on the Neighbourhood Plan. A summary of the representations received during the consultation can be viewed in the documents section, below.
The next stage is for the Neighbourhood Plan to undergo an independent examination. Mr Andrew Ashcroft has been appointed to undertake the work and any formal correspondence relating to the examination will be published in the documents section, below.
