Big South Norfolk Litter Pick
South Norfolk Council’s Big Litter Pick 2023 will be launching from 13 March to 30 June 2023 and once again we are asking local residents and community groups to help us keep the district looking tidy.
In 2022 over 500 volunteers took part and collected more than 400 sacks of litter in our local communities.
South Norfolk Councillor Graham Minshull, Cabinet Member for Clean and Safe Environment said: “Hundreds of residents get involved in our litter pick every year and it’s always fantastic to see our communities pulling together to keep South Norfolk looking tidy.”
The Council provides posters and leaflets to help publicise community litter picks and also provides advice and equipment, and when the event is finished, we will arrange to collect the litter.
There are twenty £200 prizes up for grabs across South Norfolk and every group that takes part will be given a £20 voucher to spend on their group, charity or local community.
