Litter and dog bins are both the responsibility of the town, parish and district councils.
Parish and town councilsWe regularly carry out litter picking and street sweeping in Broadland and South Norfolk. In both districts dead animals on the edge of the highway will be cleared within five working days where we are able and it is safe to do.

Broadland
In Broadland, litter and dog bins are the responsibility of either Broadland District Council, the town or parish council or private land owner.
Broadland District Council empty many bins in the district and are able to assist with most enquiries. We offer a commercial bin service for private land.

In South Norfolk, all litter and dog bins are installed by and are managed by the town or parish Council.
The town or parish Council can choose for their bins to be emptied by South Norfolk Council
Please direct any enquiries regarding damaged, missing bins, additional bins or the frequency of collections to your local town or parish Council.
