Housing Freedom of Information requests

The Councils receive a high number of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests about our housing services. To make things easier for residents and requesters, and to improve transparency, we publish a range of housing data that is frequently requested. This means you can access the information you need without submitting an FOIA request.

Housing waiting list and allocations

We publish quarterly data on:

• Number of households on the housing register
• Banding and priority categories
• Average waiting times
• Number of properties allocated each year
• Breakdown by property type and size
