Long Stratton Neighbourhood Plan

The Long Stratton Neighbourhood Plan was formally made part of the Development Plan by South Norfolk Council on 12 October 2021. This followed the positive outcome of a referendum on 30 September 2021, where 78% of those who voted were in favour of the plan. The Neighbourhood Plan will shape the future of Long Stratton to 2036.

The Neighbourhood Plan covers the whole of the parish of Long Stratton and part of Tharston and Hapton. It was prepared by a steering group on behalf of the town council and parish council.

The made Neighbourhood Plan now forms one of the main considerations in determining any future planning applications submitted in the designated neighbourhood area.
