South Norfolk bin collections

Due to the warm weather forecast, bin collections across South Norfolk will start earlier than usual this week. Please leave your bins out by 6am on your normal collection day. This temporary change will remain in place for the rest of the week.

A47 – A11 Thickthorn Junction Project

Planning Inspectorate Reference TRO10037 | Status: Consent Granted 14 October 2022

This project is for link road connecting A11 to A47 via two underpasses together with such other works as new junctions, bridges and new link road connecting Cantley Lane South with the new B1172 Norwich Road (for the complete description of the project, please see the Secretary of State’s decision letter below) by National Highways.

The project is with South Norfolk Council

The Local Planning Authority are not responsible for the Discharge of Requirements (conditions) attached to the Development Consent Order, these are being dealt with by the SoS.

Status: Judicial Review to the High Court and Court of Appeal were both dismissed.
