Postwick with Witton Neighbourhood Plan

In 2023 Postwick with Witton Parish Council submitted a Neighbourhood Area application for the purpose of developing a Neighbourhood Plan. The designated area is the whole civil parish and, in accordance with Regulation 5A of the 'Town and Country Planning, England - Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012' Broadland District Council has confirmed the designation. The parish council is the relevant body for preparing the Neighbourhood Development Plan.

The Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documentation has been submitted by Postwick with Witton Parish Council to Broadland District Council & The Broads Authority. The submitted documents have been checked by the local planning authority against the relevant criteria in Schedule 4B of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and have now been approved for publication.

In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations, 2012 (as amended), Broadland District Council is now consulting on the submitted Neighbourhood Plan. The consultation period runs from Wednesday 19 March to 5pm Friday 2 May 2025.

All responses must be received before the consultation deadline. They cannot be treated as confidential and, with the exception of personal details, will also be published as part of a summary document on this webpage at the end of this consultation period. As part of your response, you can also state if you wish to be notified if and when the Neighbourhood Plan is formally adopted by Broadland District Council and the Broads Authority at a later stage.
