Dickleburgh and Rushall Neighbourhood Plan
In July 2017, Dickleburgh and Rushall Parish Council submitted a Neighbourhood Area application to South Norfolk Council. The area proposed was the whole of the civil parish and, in accordance with Town and Country Planning, England - Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, South Norfolk Council confirmed the designation. The Parish Council is the relevant body for preparing the Neighbourhood Plan.
Since that time, a steering group of volunteers, working on behalf of the Parish Council has been developing a proposed Neighbourhood Plan for the parish, which has involved extensive research and consultation with the community and other stakeholder bodies.
Latest news
The independent examination of the submitted Neighbourhood Plan has now concluded and Mr Ashcroft has now submitted his final report to South Norfolk Council. This is available to view in the documents section (link below).
Mr Ashcroft recommends that, subject to the specific modifications set out in his report, South Norfolk Council progresses the Neighbourhood Plan to a referendum within the parish.
The next step is for South Norfolk Council to decide what course of action to take regarding the examiner’s recommendations and publish a decision statement, detailing whether the plan will progress to a referendum in the community.
Once this decision has been made, further details will be made available on this webpage.
