World Cafe arrives in Reepham

The Broadland Health and Wellbeing Partnership is asking Reepham residents and people who live in the surrounding villages to share their thoughts on where they live.
Participants will be asked what they would need to live a happier, healthier life, as part of a World Café event being held on 30 September between 6pm and 8pm at Reepham High School, Whitwell Road.
Broadland District Councillor and Cabinet member, Natasha Harpley Said:
“The health and wellbeing of our residents is a priority for the Council and it’s important that we understand the issues that our residents face. This is an opportunity for us all to work together to improve our communities and enhance the quality of life of people living in Reepham.”
The event is being run by the Broadland Health and Wellbeing Partnership, which focuses on the local population’s health and wellbeing and addressing health inequalities.
There will be small, informal group discussions and participants will have the chance to shape the work of their local health and wellbeing partnership simply by having conversations with other members of the community. There will also be a friendly facilitator, who will be asking questions relating to health and wellbeing and capturing the ideas and thoughts shared by the group.
Participants will be invited back to a follow up meeting to view the report that has been compiled using all of the feedback and perspectives shared. The Partnership will then work with community members to address and implement ideas and themes from the report.
Hot drinks and cakes will be available, and the first 60 people to sign up and attend will receive £20 as a token of appreciation for taking part.
