Explore Broadland Country Park's spooky night-time trail this half-term

Silver birches at Broadland Country Park

Broadland Country Park has unveiled a new trail and creative activity for children this half-term to celebrate Halloween.

Children of all ages can create their own Will O' Wisp lantern and explore the park's night-time spooky trail under the full moon*.

You can use your new Will O' Wisp lantern to help light your way and, as you walk along the trail, keep an eye out for spooky things hidden along the way.

A guide will also reveal interesting and fun facts about the gruesome wildlife and insects that live in and visit Broadland.

Children must be accompanied by an adult, and the route is pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Attendees are asked to meet at the main entrance by the car park to check in upon arrival.

The cost is £6 per child with a lantern kit (£2 without, please book an adult ticket for this option). There are limited spaces so booking is essential.

There are staggered start times from 6pm to 7.30pm. Please ensure you wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes, and bring a torch. Please note that no toilets are available on site.

Book now.

*View of full moon not guaranteed!
