Transfer
A premises licence can only be transferred to a party who would be in a position to use the premises for licensable activities authorised by the premises licence.
An application to transfer a premises licence should be made with the consent of the existing licence holder, unless the applicant can demonstrate:
- that they have taken all reasonable steps to obtain consent
- that, if the applicant wishes the transfer to have immediate effect, they would be in a position to use the premises during the fourteen day consultation period for the licensable activity or activities authorised by the premises licence

The following document is required:
- document which demonstrates entitlement to work in the UK (for individuals only). If individual applicants do not have an entitlement to live and work in the UK, or if they are subject to a condition preventing them from work relating to the licensable activity, the application will not be deemed valid.
Fee
The fee for a transfer application is £23 which you are required to pay online (via a debit or credit card) at the time of submission.
Processing and timescales
This consultation period with Norfolk Constabulary (and in addition, for any individual applicant/s, the Home Office) is fourteen days from receipt of a valid application. At the end of which if no representations are received the application will be granted.
