Broadland District Council Licensing and Regulatory Committee

The Licensing and Regulatory Committee has Licensing functions under the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005 which include:

• Byelaws and licensing functions including private hire vehicles, lotteries and charitable collections
• Considering representations in relation to parish boundary reviews

Licensing and Regulatory Committee (hearings)

This is a slightly different committee which determines applications and matters which are within the remit of the Licensing & Regulatory Committee and which fall outside of the officers' powers of delegation. For hearings, meetings will comprise the Chairman and two other members.

For hearings, meetings will comprise the Chairman and 2 other members

Substitutes: No substitutes permitted except on sub-committees and only from the wider Committee, subject to mandatory training
