Is your business cyber-resiliant?
Run by the business team within the Cybercrime Unit of the Norfolk Police Force, this 90 minute session will guide you through the following course content:
- current threats seen locally and regionally
- common types of attacks on business
- ransomware
- phishing
- email/social media compromise
- mandate fraud
- denial of service
- how to protect your business - simple steps to take to improve your cyber security
- securing your digital data
- managing and strengthening passwords
- additional protection methods (two factor authentication and more)
- backing up your data
- resilience planning
Cyber security can be a complex subject but it doesn’t need to be. This talk aims to strip it back to how a cyber attack could impact your organisation and what you can do to reduce the risks. The session will include relevant examples, videos, free resources and scenarios to help you and your business on your cyber security journey.

1pm to 3pm approximately.
Equipment
No equipment is necessary for you to bring to the course. Pens and note paper will be available.
Refreshments
Light refreshments will be available throughout the duration of this course. No lunch is provided on either course.
Please feel free to bring your own device so that the Cybercrime Unit can support you in securing your devices/accounts at the end of the session.
