Protected trees

Comment on a new preservation order

When a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) is served, you have 28 days in which to tell us whether you're for or against the order.

During this period the preservation order is considered to be temporary.

Any comments that you decide to make should be:

  • made in writing (to address shown below)
  • identify the tree/trees in question
  • outline your reasons for support/objection

We then take into consideration your comments and opinions when deciding whether or not to confirm the TPO.
