South Norfolk bin collections

Due to the warm weather forecast, bin collections across South Norfolk will start earlier than usual this week. Please leave your bins out by 6am on your normal collection day. This temporary change will remain in place for the rest of the week.

South Norfolk councillor information

There are 46 elected Councillors at South Norfolk Council; 23 are Conservative, 9 are Liberal Democrat, 9 are Labour, 2 are Independent, 2 are South Norfolk Independents group and 1 is a Green Party Member.

The current Leader of the Council is Councillor Daniel Elmer. The Chair of the Council for 2026/27 is Councillor Kathryn Cross and the Vice Chair is Councillor Sharon Blundell. Find out more about the role of the Chairman of the Council.
