South Norfolk Council Scrutiny Committee

Our Scrutiny Committee aims to improve the services we provide. The Committee holds Cabinet to account and can review existing policy and recommend changes. The committee can also look into areas of local concern and we welcome your involvement. You can get involved by suggesting topics, giving your views on issues and attending meetings.

Find out how you can get involved

You can suggest a topic for the Scrutiny Committee to investigate by getting in touch with us. Please note that scrutiny does not get involved with individual cases or minor matters. These should be addressed through other channels such as the appropriate council department or your local councillor.

If the Scrutiny Committee chooses to investigate your issue, you will have the chance to attend the meeting where it will be discussed. In any event, you will be contacted and told what action we will take with your request.
