Sharps disposal

Sharps waste disposal – a safe and free disposal service for residents.

If you self-administer injected medication, the best way to get rid of your sharps is to take them to a selection of pharmacies in your area.

With the support of all the pharmacies taking part, the local authorities in Norfolk have started a service to make sure that safe, free disposal of sharps waste is available to residents.

This service is free and, with the support of the pharmacies taking part, is provided by the Norfolk Waste Partnership – a partnership of Norfolk’s County, District, Borough and City councils working together to improve waste and recycling services for Norfolk’s residents and visitors.
