Paying your Broadland Garden waste invoice

Our aim is to make it as convenient as possible for you to pay for the garden waste service. We therefore offer a number of different payment methods.

Direct Debit

We encourage you to pay by Direct Debit as this is the cheapest, quickest, safest and most cost-effective way to pay for your Garden Waste invoice. You’re covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Set up a Direct Debit

Please note:  You will only be able to set up for direct debit after you have your first invoice. You will need your invoice number and account number.

Cash payments

Our offices no longer accept cash payments - please see below for different methods of payment.

Online payments

Use our secure online payment facility to pay by credit or debit card for Council Tax, business rates, Housing Benefit overpayments, temporary accommodation and invoices (including garden brown bins).

We are serious about guarding the security of your personal data and the details of any transactions you make, and use encryption to safeguard your data. We do not hold any credit or debit card information that you enter on our secure online payments system.

All of your personal and payment card details are protected using strong encryption when transmitted over the internet.

Telephone payments

Our officers will no longer take card payments but you can still pay for your Council Tax using a debit or credit card over the telephone. Simply call our 24 hour automated payment line 01603 430430. Please ensure you have your invoice reference (10 digits long starting with 2705) and your payment card to hand.

Please allow 5 working days for your payment to be processed to ensure that the payment has been successful by the due date shown on your invoice

Telephone/internet banking or BACS

You can make your payment directly into our bank account using the details. Please quote your invoice number:

  • Sort code: 20-62-61
  • Account number: 90939072
  • Payee: Broadland District Council

Cheques

Cheques need to be made payable to South Norfolk Council, please remember to write your Garden Waste invoice quoting your Invoice and Account number on the back.

Receipts will only be provided if a stamped addressed envelope is included with your payment.
