Planning applications in South Norfolk can be viewed online for applications received since the year 2000.  Application details are also available online for applications from 1991-2000 but not the associated documents.  For applications prior to 2000 documents are viewable from the microfiche in the office.

Details of planning applications within Broadland from 1998 onwards can be viewed online. Decision notices (but not the related documentation) for applications between 1982 - 1997 can also be viewed online. Prior to that date details are available to view on microfiche at Thorpe Lodge.

The council does not hold accurate information on SUDS features which may or may not be installed at the property, some information may be available on the relevant planning submissions for the site, if applicable.

We recommend that the question is referred back to the property/land owner who may hold further information.

(b)

Any specific SuDS features located on individual properties may be identified on final construction drawings produced by the developer and transferred to legal property deeds.

(c)

Long term management and any financial arrangements for maintenance of SuDS is the responsibility of the developer/land owner who may choose to make arrangements for financial contributions towards SuDS maintenance from property owners.

If the property is within the Broads Authority area you are strongly advised to enquire with them directly if they are aware of any matters affecting the property. Broads Authority

We do not hold the relevant information leading to a notice, order or direction being served for properties/land within the Broads Authority area.

If the property is or has been part of a farm, we recommend that you check that there are no 'Agricultural Occupancy' restrictions by way of conditions on the original planning permission. If the permission is pre April 1974 it would not be revealed.
