Statement regarding Park Hotel in Diss
The Council has noted the ruling by the Court of Appeal regarding the hotel in Epping Forest and would like to point out that the ruling has no effect on the current situation at the Park Hotel in Diss.
The Home Office has written to inform the Council that they will no longer be using the Park Hotel to house asylum seekers after their contract with the hotel ends at the end of this month.
That situation has not changed
