Statement regarding Bin collections in South Norfolk
There have been reports in the local media that South Norfolk Council is looking to change to three weekly bin collections.
We would like to reassure our residents that these reports are wrong, and that the council has no plans, and never has had any plans to change the frequency of our bin collections.
We issued a statement from the Council’s Leader, Daniel Elmer, last night that said:
“I can categorically state that we have no plans to move to three weekly bin collections. It will not happen.”
But unfortunately, it was not included in the story. We would once again like to reassure our residents that there will be no change to their two weekly bin collections.
