South Norfolk: Longer free parking for shoppers
South Norfolk Council is offering shoppers an early Christmas present with two hours free parking on the three Saturdays in the run up to the big day.
Cabinet member, Lisa Neal said:
“Things are different for everyone this year but we are working with our market towns to help them pull in shoppers and visitors over the festive season. That's why we’ve announced two hours free parking in all of our car parks on the Saturdays before Christmas. “Now families, friends and visitors will be able take advantage of the many wonderful things that our market towns have to offer and make Christmas a happy and prosperous one for our local traders."
On the 5, 12 and 19 December charges will be waived for the first two hours in all car parks managed by South Norfolk Council.
Free parking will be available at the following car parks:
- Diss: Park Road, Chapel Street Lower, Chapel Street Upper, Church Street, Weavers Court, Mount Street, Shelfanger Road East, Shelfanger Road West
- Wymondham: Back Lane, Town Green, Market Street, Cemetery Lane
- Loddon: Church Plain and the Staithe
