South Norfolk and Broadland Customer Panel

South Norfolk and Broadland Customer Panel

Broadland District and South Norfolk Councils are asking residents to have their say on the services they provide by joining a new Customer Panel.

The Councils are looking for residents from across the two districts to share their views on current and future services.

Members of the panel will be invited to join in surveys, focus groups and online sessions throughout the year about a range of topics. In return, they will be entered into an annual prize draw and the more feedback they contribute, the greater their chances of winning.

South Norfolk Cllr Richard Elliott, Cabinet Member for Customer Focus, said:

“Customer feedback is vital to our success, we want to hear what our residents think about our services and where we can improve. So, if you want to make a real difference to where you live, then join our Panel.”

Broadland District Cllr Jonathan Emsell, Portfolio Holder for Transformation and Organisational Development, said:

“We aim to deliver first-class customer services and put customers at the heart of everything we do. We want to hear about our residents’ priorities and what they value most, so we can tailor our services accordingly.”

Panel members will:

  • Provide feedback on local services - particularly around how they may need to change
  • Help identify future needs and priorities
  • Give views on any new proposals
  • Be a voice on how the councils share information with residents
  • Help test new ideas and initiatives

Panel members will be invited to take part in at least three online surveys a year and may also be invited to take part in further research. All participation is voluntary. The councils will keep panel members updated on the results of the research and offer more ways to get involved via an email newsletter.
