Only two weeks left to nominate community champions

South Norfolk Community Awards 2025

Time is running out to shine a spotlight on local unsung heroes, with just two weeks left for residents to submit nominations for South Norfolk Council’s Community Awards.

Launched by District Councillor Sharon Blundell, the annual awards celebrate the incredible efforts of local volunteers and organisations who go above and beyond to make a real difference in their communities.

Chair of South Norfolk Council, Cllr Blundell, said:

There are some incredible people all over the district who are changing lives for the better. This is your chance to show them how much they’re appreciated. With only two weeks to go, don’t miss the opportunity to nominate someone who deserves recognition.

There are nine award categories, each designed to highlight a different kind of community contribution:

  • Healthy & Active Award
  • Young Achiever of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Connecting Communities Award
  • Environmental Champion Award
  • Business in the Community Award
  • Community Organisation of the Year
