Time is running out, with only a few days left to nominate for Broadland District Council's Community at Heart Awards.

Cabinet member, Natasha Harpley said:

“Don’t miss the chance to show the people who make a huge difference to our communities just how much they are appreciated. If you know someone who goes the extra mile in your community, this is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve. Please don’t leave it to someone else, nominate today.”

Making a nomination is easy and the eight award categories are:

  • Young Achiever Award
  • Community Organisation of the Year
  • Business in the Community Award
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Green at Heart Award
  • Connecting Communities Award
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Healthy and Active Award

Nominations close 29 August and the awards will be presented at a special ceremony at the Royal Norwich Golf Club in Weston Longville.

The awards are sponsored by Clarion Housing Group.
