Get ready for a fun-filled February Half Term with Tots2Teens

Broadland District Council is inviting families to take part in its popular Tots2Teens February Half Term programme, offering a range of creative and engaging activities for children and young people aged 5 to 16.
Running from Monday 17 to Friday 21 February 2026, the programme provides high quality, supervised holiday activities that support learning, creativity and wellbeing during the school break.
Cllr Natasha Harpley, Portfolio Holder for Communities and Housing, said:
Our Tots2Teens programme is all about giving children and young people the opportunity to try something new, make friends and keep active during the school holidays. We know how important affordable, high quality holiday activities are for families, and we’re really pleased to be offering another exciting programme.
This February half-term offers plenty of creative and relaxing activities for children and young people. They can roll up their sleeves in a Tasty Tapas Cookery Session, learning to prepare a variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a fun, supportive setting. The Lunar New Year Fun Zone invites participants to explore traditional ink wash painting, craft their own lanterns, and discover customs as 2026 welcomes the Year of the Fire Horse.
For those seeking calm, the Calm Cats Relaxation Zone provides tools and techniques for self-regulation, self-care and improved emotional and physical wellbeing. Using its signature mix of games and engaging activities, Calm Cats helps children develop lifelong skills for resilience and balance.
All sessions are delivered by trained staff and follow national out of school childcare guidance. Fruit snacks will be provided at each session and participants are asked to bring a packed lunch where sessions run throughout the day. Broadland District Council is committed to ensuring the programme is accessible to as many families as possible.
A 50 per cent reduction is available for Broadland households in receipt of eligible means tested benefits.
Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
