Family fun and adventure on offer this May half term

Children playing outside

Broadland District Council is offering a programme of fun and engaging activities for children during the May half term holiday, with its Tots2Teens sessions taking place from 23 to 26 May.

The programme is open to young people aged 5 to 16 and includes a range of creative, outdoor and adventurous activities designed to support wellbeing, confidence and social development during the school break.

Activities include a Family Fun Day at Broadland Country Park, where families can enjoy nature based crafts, games and wellbeing activities together, an outdoor adventure day at Hautbois Activity Centre for older children, and a spring cookery session for younger participants where children will prepare seasonal dishes to take home.

Tots2Teens is a Big Norfolk Holiday Fun provider, meaning children who are eligible for means tested free school meals may be able to attend eligible sessions free of charge. Households in Broadland who are claiming means tested benefits may also qualify for a 50 per cent reduction on activity prices.

Bookings open today (Monday 5 May), and places are limited. Activities can be booked online at www.southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk/t2t or by calling (01603) 430525. Further information and updates are available at www.facebook.com/bdctots2teens.
