Enjoy the Wonder of Winter at Broadland Country Park
Visitors to Broadland Country Park can enjoy a free Winter Wonder trail.
Broadland District Council are launching the new trail on 8 December, to encourage families to get active together and enjoy nature in the run-up to Christmas.
Broadland District Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing, Cllr Natasha Harpley said:
“Bring the children, your family and friends to our beautiful Country Park this winter and enjoy our free trail. It’s suitable for all ages and abilities and a great reason to get out of the house and do something different, while getting active and having fun with nature.”
Visitors will be able to follow the pink trail through the trees and search for Jack Frost’s golden pinecones hidden around the woods. They will also be encouraged to make natural Christmas decorations using things found in the park and learn about the incredible winter wildlife and plants.
The trail will be open all day throughout December and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
