Creative Kitchen officially opened

Broadland District Council is delighted to announce the formal opening of the Creative Content Kitchen at the Broadland Food Innovation Centre (BFIC).
On Tuesday, 21 November, Broadland District Council's Cabinet Member, Councillor Martin Booth, officially declared the unique facility open.
Councillor Booth said:
“I am proud that Broadland District Council was able to support our growing food and drink industry by making this presentation kitchen possible. “The space is ideal for businesses to create and showcase their new products. It offers a fully equipped area to cook, taste, and stage products. Professional lighting, ideal for both photo and video shoots and a viewing screen to review and test content immediately.”
The kitchen is also linked to the BFIC’s large conference room screen. This allows potential buyers or investors to watch the live production process from the comfort of the conference room and then immediately sample the results, creating a seamless pitch and tasting experience.
The Creative Content Kitchen joins other specialised facilities at the Broadland Food Innovation Centre which can also be hired by the day. These include: the fully equipped Test Kitchen, a dedicated Sensory Taste testing facility and the Conference Room, which can host up to 24 people.
Opened in September 2022 by Broadland District Council, the Broadland Food Innovation Centre is a strategic partnership project. Its primary objective is to act as a Centre of Excellence and Expertise to secure the commercial futures of food and drink concepts, leveraging regional economic opportunities through strategic innovation support, product development, and production assistance.
The Centre is currently home to a range of innovative food and drink businesses and businesses can benefit from the Centre through the Virtual Tenancy scheme.
