Council takes business support on the road to Aylsham

Broadland District Council is holding a ‘drop in and find out’ business event on 4 November in Aylsham.
The Council is inviting local businesses to drop in and find out about grants, advice and training available to businesses planning to expand.
Cabinet Member, Councillor Martin Booth said:
Investing in and supporting new and existing businesses is part of the Council’s strategy to generate economic growth in our district. It’s vitally important that businesses know what help is available to them and our drop-in sessions provide an opportunity to find out about grants and business support.
Business Builder is the Council’s growth programme designed to support businesses planning to invest in their business growth with Rural Capital grants of up to £25,000 available for rural businesses. Development grants and Build Up grants are also available to Broadland businesses which have been trading for over and under two years respectively.
The Council is also offering free online foundation training for entrepreneurs planning to launch. Broadland District Council’s Business Bus, a mobile office, will be in Aylsham Business Park, Richard Oakes Road, Aylsham NR11 6FD on the 4 November, between 1 - 4 pm, with a team ready to help local businesses.
If you can’t make it to the Business Bus, you can also apply for a grant via email, business@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk or by visiting our website.
