Celebrating the power of volunteering

South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils are proud to be supporting national Volunteers' Week.
This annual event is dedicated to recognising the extraordinary contributions of volunteers across the two councils’ communities.
Broadland District Councillor, Natasha Harpley said:
We are so grateful to those who go the extra mile, giving up their time, energy and skills to help others. Your kindness and dedication have a lasting impact, and we thank you for everything you do.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the two districts, serving as valuable partners in delivering and promoting vital services and extending the reach of the councils into local communities. From organising successful local events to providing support for vulnerable residents, their dedication helps the councils to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
South Norfolk Councillor Graham Minshull said:
During Volunteer Week, we pause to recognise the incredible people who quietly give their time to make a big difference. This week and every week we thank you. Your impact is immeasurable, and your efforts never go unnoticed.
Volunteers' Week is an important opportunity to shine a spotlight on the incredible efforts of volunteers across both South Norfolk and Broadland.
The commitment of the many groups and individuals helps both councils to make a tangible, positive difference to the lives of their residents.
