Business Breakfast dishes up inspiration and innovation

Keynote speaker at Business Breakfast

South Norfolk Council welcomed a packed room of local businesses to its latest Business Breakfast at the Park Farm Hotel, Hethersett, on 2 December, delivering inspiration, practical advice and networking opportunities for the district’s thriving business community.

South Norfolk Cabinet Member, Cllr Lisa Overton-Neal, said:

Our Business Breakfasts are all about connecting people, sharing ideas and giving businesses the tools they need to succeed. It was fantastic to see so many local businesses come together with such energy and enthusiasm. South Norfolk Council is committed to supporting our business community every step of the way and we want businesses to know that our team is here to help – whether it’s practical advice, grants, or training opportunities."

The event featured an engaging keynote from Nathan Lomax, co-founder and director of Quickfire Digital, who shared actionable strategies to help businesses boost sales in 2026. Delegates also enjoyed an interactive experience with Victor Ling, Managing Director of Barkers Photo Fun, who showcased cutting-edge AI photo booths that created alternative versions of attendees in seconds.

The Council’s Managing Director, Trevor Holden, reaffirmed the Council’s strong commitment to supporting the business community and urged delegates to connect with the Business Team for practical guidance and strategic advice to help local businesses thrive.

The morning concluded with two lucky winners receiving prizes: a Love Local Christmas voucher to spend within an independent shop in Broadland or South Norfolk and Afternoon Tea at Park Farm Hotel, which also provided exceptional hospitality and a delicious breakfast for all attendees.

Businesses looking to capture the same energy at the next event should sign up to the Council’s Business Newsletter and book early when dates are released in March.
