Broadland: Environmental Excellence Panel 4 June 2020
Broadland District Council’s Environmental Excellence Panel was held via Zoom last night to discuss a revised version of Broadland District and South Norfolk Councils’ Environmental Strategy.
The strategy would see the councils commit to “continuous environmental improvement” and seek to tackle environmental damage in the districts.
Chairman of the panel, Councillor Judy Leggett said:
"I'm pleased to say our first virtual Environmental Excellence Panel was a great success. We are very proud of the Environmental Strategy and associated Action Plan, and were happy to recommend its approval to Cabinet. We know that improving the environment is something very close to the hearts of our residents, and we are excited to unveil this new strategy to them in due course."
