Briefing for Police and Crime Commissioner candidates

Prospective candidates and election agents from across the county are being invited to a briefing session on Monday 11 March, ahead of the 2024 Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner Election.
The session takes place at 6pm, in the Starston Room at the Horizon Centre, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0WF
Norfolk Police Area Returning Officer, Trevor Holden said:
"This session will cover the timetable for the elections, the nomination process and where to find more information on the Electoral Commission website. We'll also talk about postal votes and will explain the verification and count arrangements. It should prove very useful for people thinking of putting themselves forward for the role of our local Police and Crime Commissioner."
There is no need to book, but it would be helpful if attendance could be confirmed so that enough information packs are available.
Please email: stuart.guthrie@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk to confirm attendance at this session.
The Police and Crime Commissioner election takes place on Thursday, 2 May 2024. Anyone wishing to vote in this election must be registered by 16 April 2024. To register to vote, visit the GOV.UK website.
