Race is on to sign up for 10K
Bookings have now opened for Broadland District Council’s Marriott’s Way 10K, which takes place on Sunday 22 September.
The Council’s Director of People and Communities, Jamie Sutterby, said:
“This event is extremely popular, last year we were at full capacity, so sign up now to avoid disappointment!”
The route starts in Aylsham and winds through the district’s beautiful countryside before ending in the bustling Reepham marketplace.
Jamie said:
“Training for the event is a great opportunity to improve your fitness. We are keen to encourage people of all ages and abilities to take part. So whether you run or walk, come along, make some memories and have a fantastic time!”
This is the 15th year the Council have held the event to encourage more people to get fit and active.
There will be a complimentary shuttle from Reepham High School to the start line and each runner will receive a medal and other goodies for taking part. Entries cost £17 per affiliated, £19 per non-affiliated person and £60 for corporate challenge entries of 4 runners. Places are limited, so prompt booking is encouraged.
