Location: Aylsham to Reepham, Norfolk
The 10km trail race starts in Aylsham, on the Marriott’s Way itself, finishing in the picturesque marketplace in Reepham. The run is flat and mostly off road along the Marriott’s Way, perfect terrain for seasoned runners and those new to running due to the softer ground. Runners also get to see the beautiful Norfolk countryside as they run along the old railway line.
There are 5 different start waves split into 10 minutes intervals so that there is room for all on the route. The start waves are assigned on a first come, first serve basis and do not correspond to runners predicted finisher times. These are; 10am, 10.10am, 10.20am, 10.30am, 10.40am.
Money raised from the entry fees is used to fund some of the Council’s most-valued community services, with some funds also donated to the Chairman’s chosen charity.

Marriott's Way 10K FAQ's
All numbers will be posted to runner’s home address. For any reason this doesn’t arrive please go to race HQ which will be open from 8:30am on race day.
Runners are advised to park at either Woodgate Nursery, Aylsham or Reepham High School and use the complimentary shuttle bus.
Please note there will be a road closure in place from Ollands Road, Reepham to Reepham Market Place whilst the race is taking place. Runners or spectators will not be able to park in Reepham Market Place and will be diverted to Reepham High School.
There will be a bag drop at Woodgate Nursery. This will then be moved after the race has started and will be ready for collection at the finish line in Reepham Market Place from 10.45am. A bag tag is attached to your race number. Please complete this and fix to your bag before you arrive at bag drop off.
Toilets will be available at Woodgate Nursery, Aylsham and Reepham Market Place. There are no toilets at the start line or at Reepham High School.
Water will be available for runners at 5km and at the finish line at Reepham Market Place.
There is a free complimentary shuttle bus for runners from the finish line (Reepham High School) to the start (Woodgate Nursery, Aylsham) at the following times:

9.00am (Pre race)
9.40am (Pre race)
12.00pm (Post race)
12.40pm (Post race)
The buses are complimentary for all runners. If a spectator would like to use the bus, then please specify on the form. Initially spaces will be offered to runners but if there are free spaces you will be contacted and offered a seat.
Bus seat availability is on a first come first served basis.
Bone conduction headphones are the only headphones that are approved for use in all road races under the UK Athletics Rules of Competition. The Rules are clear that “in ear” headphones cannot be used in this event as road crossings are open to traffic. Any runners found to be wearing in ear headphones will be disqualified.
All participants on completion of the race will receive a finisher vest, medal and goodies. There are also prizes for overall winners as well as winners in each age category:
