Broadland District Council is launching quarterly Business Breakfasts to provide an ideal networking opportunity for the business community and a chance to hear from experts on relevant topics.

The first Business Breakfast will take place on Wednesday 14 September, 2022, at Royal Norwich, The Weston Estate, Weston Longville, NR9 5JE, from 7:30am to 9:30am.

The event is open to businesses in both the Broadland and South Norfolk districts.

Scheduled speakers for the inaugural Business Breakfast include Warren Munday with a presentation on the current gas and energy crisis; Anne-Marie Veitch discussing procurement and how to bid for council contracts; and Jane Bagley introducing the Council’s new Business Builder support package. Royal Norwich will also showcase their venue and invite attendees to an optional tour once the event finishes.

Councillor Jo Copplestone, Portfolio Holder for Economic Development, said: “I am immensely proud of how our local businesses have coped over the past two years of challenges. We are committed to doing all we can to support the business community and I’d urge anyone to take advantage of this great opportunity to potentially bolster your business and make new contacts to help you grow.”

A cooked breakfast will be provided.

Spaces are limited, so potential attendees are advised to secure theirs ASAP via an online booking form. Admission (including the cooked breakfast) is £12.50 and dietary requirements can be specified on the booking form.
