Booking is now open for Broadland District Council’s fantastic Tots2Teens sessions this December, offering festive activities for children aged five to 16 years old.

A four-day robot workshop for 10 to 16 year olds is also available to book

The school holiday club, which the council has run for many years, is offering four days of COVID-secure fun from 20 to 23 December, 2021.

Your child can enjoy making their own Christmas cards, snow globes and decorations at craft sessions, create a DIY picture frame, or try their hand at cooking festive treats home to share with family and friends.

The four-day long ‘Robots Takeover’ session in partnership with Laboratory Media Education, and see children creating and controlling a range of virtual and real robots, taking on various challenges and animating them to create a short film.

The robot course is inclusive for all children aged 10 to 16, and appropriate for those who might struggle in other classes or workshop situations but flourish in a calmer setting and a slower paced session.

Cllr Fran Whymark, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Wellbeing, said:

"We're thrilled to offer so many fun activities for children and young teenagers this December. It's not always easy to keep kids entertained during the school holidays, which is where Tots2Teens comes in. We've got lots to keep them busy and you can feel reassured that all our sessions are well organised and safe."

In addition, Tots2Teens is running Fun Zones on 29 and 30 December, with one of these being a New Year’s Eve children’s party.
