£2,000 Lottery Win for Local Supporter

A lucky Broadland resident has won £2,000 after matching five numbers in the Broadland Community at Heart Lottery – one of the biggest prizes ever awarded!
The winner supports the Friends of Sparhawk School Association, one of the 107 local good causes currently benefiting from the lottery, which was launched by Broadland District Council to help not-for-profit groups raise funds for vital community services.
Since its first draw in February 2021, the lottery has raised an impressive £172,684.20 for local organisations – including schools, charities, music groups, wellbeing services, and sports clubs – and has paid out over £35,000 in prize money to lucky players.
Broadland District Council’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Natasha Harpley, said:
Congratulations to our £2,000 winner. Their support for Friends of Sparhawk School Association is a great example of how this lottery brings real benefits to both players and the community. With a chance to win up to £25,000, it’s a fun and rewarding way to support the causes that matter most to you.
Players can choose from 107 Broadland-based good causes when buying tickets. For every £1 ticket, 60p goes directly to local organisations, helping to improve lives across the district. With a 1-in-50 chance of winning, the Community at Heart Lottery continues to grow in popularity.
Weekly draws take place every Saturday at 8pm, and signing up is quick and easy via the lottery website.
There’s no deadline for new groups to join – any non-profit organisation in Broadland can register for free and start fundraising right away. Visit www.communityatheartlottery.com to play and start making a difference.
