Dave Roberts, Councillor for North Wymondham has used some of his money to help fund a new sports cage at Robert Kett Primary School and to support local cancer charity Star Throwers. Cllr Roberts said:

“District Councillors are well-positioned in the community to recognise projects that will really make a difference to local people. I am delighted that I can support Star Throwers - a fantastic charity that supports people with cancer and their families. The new sports cage will also be a welcome addition to the school and give local youngsters greater opportunities to participate in sport.”

Cllr Roberts contributed £400 towards a new caged sports area at Robert Kett Primary School, which will give children of all ages improved access to sporting activities after school and throughout the holidays. He also gave £400 to Star Throwers to replace the towels they use in their therapy rooms.
