Housing Strategy 2027-2030

Good housing is fundamental to health, wellbeing, independence and thriving communities.

South Norfolk Council and Broadland District Council have individually developed draft Housing Strategies for 2027-2030, setting out how we will respond to local housing challenges and improve housing outcomes for residents.

The strategies focus on delivering the right homes, improving the quality of existing homes, and supporting residents to live safe, healthy and independent lives.

We would like to hear your views on the draft strategies. Whether you are a resident, housing provider, partner organisation, elected Member, town or parish council, neighbouring authority or other stakeholder, your feedback will help shape the final strategy.

The closing date for responses to the consultation is at 23:59 on Wednesday 9 December 2026.
