Biodiversity Strategies 2025-30

South Norfolk Council and Broadland District Council have developed Biodiversity Strategies to protect and restore nature across our communities. Biodiversity—the variety of plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms—underpins vital services such as clean air and water, climate regulation, and food production. With biodiversity under increasing pressure, these strategies set out actions to safeguard habitats, promote sustainable land use, and support recovery, in line with national commitments under the Environment Act 2021 and local initiatives like the Norfolk Nature Recovery Strategy.
