Environmental Delivery Plan progress updates
We have expanded electric vehicle charge point provision across the district by installing chargers in our owned car parks and at our Council offices.
We are delivering Net Zero Go training sessions for our businesses, supported by Groundwork East.
We are project partners in the Clean Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap for the Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor.
We installed air source heat pumps at our Council offices, Diss Leisure Centre and one of our Temporary Housing accommodation sites saving the equivalent of 322 tones of C02 each year.
We are carrying out a host of energy efficiency measures at our Council operated leisure centres including insulation, installing solar PV and an air source heat pump.
We have established a joint venture company with other Norfolk partners to secure mitigation to reduce the nutrient levels in our important waterways.
All staff within the Council's Corporate Leadership Team are Carbon Literacy accredited
