Norfolk County Council Elections - 7 May 2026

The government announced in early 2025 that the Norfolk County Council elections, originally scheduled for May 2025, were postponed to 7 May 2026. This decision followed Norfolk’s inclusion on the Government’s Devolution Priority List, which will bring changes to local council structures.

As a result, current Norfolk County Councillors remain in office for an additional year. Norfolk is among several areas where elections were delayed as part of wider local government reforms.
