South Norfolk bin collections

Due to the warm weather this week, our bin crews will start collections earlier, from 6am (instead of the usual 6.30am), on your usual collection day from tomorrow (Tuesday 23 June). This will apply all week.

Council Tax Assistance Consultation 25/26

Since 1 April 2013 the Council has been operating a local Council Tax Assistance (CTA) Scheme which replaced Council Tax Benefit.

Each year the Council has to review and approve its Scheme. Before this takes place we consult with customers and stakeholders to help us develop and update our Scheme.

The surveys below will tell you the changes that South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are considering making to their CTA Schemes from April 2025, the reasons behind the proposals, and how it may affect customers.
