Wellbeing Champion area

Welcome to the Wellbeing Champion area

This area is a training and support resource for Wellbeing Champions taking part in the Mindful Towns and Villages programme. Wellbeing Champions are local volunteers trained to have supportive conversations about mental wellbeing, recognise when someone may be struggling, and signpost people to appropriate support services.

The resources here should be used alongside your Wellbeing Champion training. They are designed to help you feel confident and supported in your role within your community.

Over the next three pages, you will find a range of resources to support yourself and those you have conversations with.

Help Hub

If someone living in South Norfolk or Broadland needs further support, regardless of what the cause is, they should contact our Help Hub. The Help Hub team can support a wide range of areas which could be contributing to someone's mental health. You can complete the online referral form on behalf of the resident (with their permission) and in the text state that you are a Wellbeing Champion, or they can complete the form themselves.
