Local Area Co-ordinators
Local Area Co-ordinators work with people to understand what matters to them and what would help make life easier. They can meet with you to help find the right support in your community.
We walk alongside people to provide person-centred support shaped around what matters to you and help you:
- Make new connections and friends
- Find local groups and activities
- Access support and services if you need them
- Build confidence and independence
- Think about what a good life looks like
A Local Area Co-ordinator will take time to listen and understand your situation. They can help you look at your strengths, your goals and the support available around you.
You may want support if you:
- Need to overcome personal challenges
- Feel isolated
- Need help finding local support
- Want to get more involved in your community
- Are going through a change in your life
