Bin collections

Due to the warm weather this week, our bin crews will start collections earlier across South Norfolk and Broadland, from 6am (instead of the usual 6:30am), on your usual collection day. This will apply all week.

Community Grant Scheme

The deadline for applications to the Community Grant Scheme has now passed. Please contact the communities team if you require information on future rounds of CGS funding.

There will be many community initiatives which will require larger amounts of funding. Broadland's Community Grant Scheme (CGS) is provided to support and fund these initiatives.

Local District Councillors are responsible for considering and proposing applications between £1,000 and £15,000 from the CGS fund.

Applications will be considered by the CGS Panel; who will meet up to two times per year to consider requests for CGS applications, but may allocate the full budget at the first.

Please contact your local district councillor, who will make an application for funding on your behalf.

For members

If you would like help about identifying community groups or advice on supporting groups please contact the communities team.

For information about what can be funded please look at the ground rules.

All grant applications must have a separate confirmation of bank details to evidence that they are valid. This evidence must be a copy (paper copy, photo, scanned picture) of either a paying in slip or header of a bank statement.

Read the ground rules before applying

Please read guidance notes before applying for funding, here.
