Community Facilities Grant

Funding applications for the Community Facilities Grant will open on 1st April 2026.

The Community Facilities Grant (CFG) is provided to support and fund capital improvements to a community facility/building. These could be major refurbishments, adding solar panels, moving heat pumps etc.

Local District Councillors are responsible for considering and proposing applications between £10,000 and £50,000 from the CFG fund.

Applications will be considered by the Grants and Awards Panel; who will meet up to two times per year to consider requests for CFG applications, but may allocate the full budget at the first.

Please contact  your local district councillor, who will make an application for funding on your behalf.

All grant applications must have a separate confirmation of bank details to evidence that they are valid. This evidence must be a copy (paper copy, photo, scanned picture) of either a paying in slip or header of a bank statement.
